Just got the call that it'll be ready for pick up this Wed. Now I have to clear out the freezer to have it ready for my beef!

BTW, I enjoyed reading all the stuff about bison/buffalo. Educational! I hold no grudges for co-opting the thread. Just remember to forgive each other!

Okay, tonight we had the first cut of beef from the cow. I cooked a chuck roast that came out awesome. So tender and flavorful without any seasoning. If that's what I can look forward to with the rest of the cow, I'll be ecstatic! Definitely worth it!

One of my nurse's aides brought in fresh chicken. He plucked and cleaned them himself. They were fantastic.

I'm glad your beef is meeting expectations.
