Sizzling Beef

1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 red bell pepper, sliced into 1 inch lengths
6 scallions, sliced diagonal into 1 inch lengths
1 lb. Sirloin steak, cut onto thin strips across the grain
¼ cup beef stock
2 tablespoons sherry vinegar
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons tomato paste
salt and pepper


Heat oil in wok. Stir fry bell pepper and scallions about 2-3 min. Add beef and stir fry another 3-4 min, until browned.

Add stock, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and tomato paste.

Season to taste.
