If you can find a local beef processor in your area, give them a try and you might be surpized at how affordable beef can be.
and how good it is for you, too! and how much better it tastes without all the steroids, hormones, and so forth that are fed to "commercial" beef.

Wine is the food that completes the meal.

I used to split a back quarter with a friend and enjoyed it very much. Since I moved down here, I have to find a good butcher and have to have a friend willing to do it. I don't want a full quarter in my freezer.

Georgia is a whole lot different than Amish country in Pennsylvania. Although I don't miss the cold, I miss the Amish.
