I have a friend here in Ojai who makes bacon pecan brittle. She batches candy for an outlet. Very tasty stuff.

Where would one find pepitas online? I can check with Dillons/Kroger but getting to a Mexican market would entail a good half hour drive. Might be a good field trip when the weather clears though.

You should be able to buy them in ANY grocery store! They might be labled as pumpkin seeds...same thing :)

Actually, pepitas are hard to find in my experienc. I can buy them bulk at the local farmers market and they are really good roasted/toasted.

I'm not a brittle fan, but I think I would have to give this a try if someone made it for me!!!
