Really ? I know lots of their stories but just don't recall the faggots reference , not used perhaps in the books I have read. Anyway happy to have broadened my horizons in the use of the word !

I got my ingredients today , having a faggot cook up tomorrow and they freeze well too .

seaman staines was allegedly a character in the 1960's childrens tv series "captain pugwash" along with master bates & roger the cabin boy.all made up by the sunday correspondent newspaper who were sued by the author of the books.the name,seaman staines,does appear to have,ermmm no pun intended,err stuck:rolleyes::ohmy::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:!!
