Ham Steak

What's your favorite way to prepare one of these. Something simple.

1- throw in on the grill
2- in a frying pan sprinkle lil brown sugar on it
3- on top of scallop potatoes

One day your life will flash before your eyes. Make sure it's worth watching

Pan fry in a cast iron skillet with a tiny bit of oil...Serve with eggs, grits and hot biscuits!
For "dessert" ---- A piece of ham inside a biscuit with a little wild plum jelly! Hot Coffee!!!

I'm in for the frying pan too. Only I use butter as the fat. Candied yams, maybe some cole slaw. Either like it is or in a sandwich on a keiser roll.

I've also used it in scalloped potatoes with some cheese chunked inside.

And you can't go wrong with frying it and having ham and eggs.

I get a couple of ham steaks, but them into serving sizes and layer them in the crockpot with sliced potatoes and cheese. Mmm Mmm good!!
