Just some ribs

The weather crap today, but i wanted ribs so i moved the smoker onto the front porch and smoked away. Here are a few pics from the smoke
about an hour and a half in i started spraying with apple juice and rum

total time 4.5 hrs 2 hrs in the grate, 2 hrs in foil with apple juice and rum, 1/2 hr back on the grate to firm them up and dry the outside off

with fries, okra and a cream cheese peanut butter pie

If ya have a good rub, ya dont need any sauce!

What "cut" of ribs are those pictured?!

All we get here are "spare ribs", they are good, but nothing like that 3rd picture!

Thanks, Eric Austin Tx.

Smokeyblue I don't think you can trim spare ribs to baby backs....
You can trim Spare ribs down to "St Louis Cut" spare ribs, but not to baby backs.... Loin Back Ribs (AKA Baby Backs) are not the same thing as Spare Ribs....Different part of the hog...
