Pork, Apples - slow cooker

I use my slow cooker often with a big family it really comes in handy. this cooks over night or 10-12 hours
Trim off any fat from a 4 lb. pork loin, then brown it under the broiler or in a large skillet. Place 6 apples quartered and cored in bottom of your cooker. Put the meat on top of the apples. Combine 1/3 cup apple juice or cider, 3 Tab. brown sugar,1 teas. ground ginger mixing well then drizzle over the roast cover and set on low for 10-12 hrs. I like it served with either white or brown rice or even some orzo. Anice green salad. Let the roast sit a few min. before slicing.
Enjoy
