I had this beautiful piece of loin yesterday. Cut a hole into the middle of it, all the way through. Pushed a long piece of polish sausage in there.
Salt ,pepper, garlic and in the oven it went.
When it was almost done, I brushed a thick layer of honey mustard on it.
It came out great.
Served it with mini veggies and fingerlings roasted in goose fat.
No, but probably will. The honey mustard works really great on this. Bakes on top like a golden brown crust and the taste is really awesome with the meat ans sausage.
I think I will try with different sausages and maybe different glazes?
