I got this recipe when i was on holiday in northern Portugal. It makes a great barbeque.

ingredients
pork steaks
bay leaves
garlic
red wine
sea salt

method
the day before, bash the steaks nice and flattish, rub salt in both sides and lay meat in dish.
crush garlic, crumble bay leaves and sprinkle over meat.
pour in red wine to almost cover.I use a flattish dish so you dont use so much wine.
Leave in fridge overnight. A couple of times before that, get a fork and turn the meat over in the wine. It will go a purply colour but dont worry.

Next day, throw the juices away and barbeque or grill the meat, serve with chips and salad. mmmmm:chef:

I had no bayleaves so approximated somethinng similar to this using rosemary and my huband adored it! I cannot wait to try it again with bay leaves. Thanks for the recipe!
