This was one of my favorite comfort foods after a hard day on the Piste
Ingredients, Boiled pots cut into slices, smoked bacon cut into batons, diced onions, diced garlic, sour cream, white wine, one of these cheeses cut horizontally into two equal halves.Reblochon,Brie or Camenbert, the cheese of your choice should be round whole(then cut) and fit into a tall round baking pot.
Method over a low heat sweat the onions garlic and bacon till cooked (do not color)increase heat and add white wine, evaporate 70% of the wine then add the sour cream cook till creamy.
Place half of the bacon mix in the base of your pot, add a layer of the thick slice pots then place the cheese on top cut side down. Repeat the layer ending with the cheese cut side down then bake in a medium oven.:)

That sounds really, really yummy. What temperature oven and how long?
about 300f, cooking time, I like it when the cheese top browns a little and go runs down the side of the pot to give a rustic look;)
