Lookin' good! With the heavy chili seasonings, do you notice a big flavor difference vs. beef?

I know I feel like I can taste the difference when it's mostly venison. Of course, taste can be deceptive when you know you're tasting something different. But I also think there's a little difference mouth feel. I guess venison is sort of a "harder" meat than tame beef. The venison chili is "meatier," if that make sense. I don't get nearly enough chances to use it.

I make it 50/50 the real difference is the texture of the meat.

Looks so good, Joey! That's what my ex did, he mixed venison with beef for that little bit of extra fat and mouth feel goodness.
