I picked up a package of venison sausages made with an addition of merlot and blueberries. Can you tell I have a thing for blueberries?
What do you think? I was planning on serving them simply grilled and sliced, along with a cheese plate with stilton with cranberries, camembert with mushrooms, an irish cheddar, and assorted greek olives. I also have two of the juciest peaches in the state, and will most likely grill them, (sliced) and serve as well.
There are 4 in the package, probably weighing about 5-6 ounces each. I will probably only grill two. Any ideas for the other two? What do you think about them in a fritatta with sliced potatoes and a little goat cheese?
