Vension Burger Rice Pie
1 1/2 lb ground vension browned and drained
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 garlic clove chopped
Deep dish pie shell
1 med. jar spaghetti sauce (your choice)
2 1/2 cups cooked brown rice ( white if you prefer)
1/2 cup grated cheese (your choice)
salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 375 Combine vension,bread crumbs, green pepper, onion and garlic. Place into pie shell. Mix rice, cheese, salt and pepper and a little over half of the spaghetti sauce. Place this over the vension layer. Spread the remaining sauce over the top of the pie bake about 35 to 40 min.
