Exclamation Another earthquake!!

I just heard on the late night news that another earthquake of a 6.9 magnitude has struck off the Northern California coast. It is in the same vicinity as the 7.0 earthquake of Tuedsay. Boy, I am glad that I moved away from that area. I lived on that section of the coast from 1989 to 1993.

Sierra, I'm confused about the timing of this one. It says June 17 @ 6:21 UTC - so what time was that in our time zone?

It can be confusing. If you read down a little farther it says what it was in the Pacific time zone.

If I'm not mistaken, we just had yet another earthquake about 1 minute ago. Felt like the swaying kind.

Earthquakes are quite interesting. I don't mind them at all. The sensation, though, is quite a trip. Kind of like a free fall, only sideways.
