Back and in a great mood.

Well I did a little financial juggling and ended up with a bit after my taxes so Im caught up with rent, bills and had a bit leftover. Today I got a good 1 hour haircut (a little too short but good), bought a new suit, some jeans, slacks and I should be getting a new pair of boots tomorrow. I dont know... just feeling good and wanted to pass it on.

Except... ugh... a little sick. I make a REALLY simple mix of mac and cheese, cubes of ham and a small scoop of mayo when I need to feed a few people on the cheap. My roomie tried making that last night but since he has ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE OF TASTE he decided it would be a good idea to add like 3 spoons of curry... yup, it ended up tasting like a mess... all sweet and spicy and overpowering without the other ingredients showing up at all. I think it messed up my tummy too.

Glad you're back, dude! Just a suggestion, maybe you should keep the spice cabinet under lock and key so your taste-challenged roomies won't mess up your cooking!

Not a bad idea... this guy goes through a bottle of my texas pete a week. Seriosly If I ever buy any saffron or something expensive I'll keep it in an envelope in my wallet. 8)

Lugaru, all in all, sounds like a GREAT day (except for the tummy ache). Got your taxes done, had some left over after paying da bills, bought some new duds, got a haircut & cooked. (Haven't checked on my taxes/status. Gotta call my guy. Wish me luck.) How does that saying go? - Too many cooks spoil the broth. You're way ahead of the game! Glad you're here & sharing the good stuff too. As Robin Williams? said, reality, what a concept.:)
