DS - my friend's grandmother's house was very chilly one morning. She noticed her fish were kind of not swimming right. She felt the water and it was very cold - so she added some hot water Needless to say that didn't work!!!

Probably a problem with temp in the "holding pot er tank". When they said "100 degrees," they meant F not C.
