Well, that time has come again. Tomorrow (Dec. 3) is the anual craft show at a Native Casino that I do phone work for. I've been invited to sell my cookbooks at the show. My sister will be there selling her beadwork as well. I have to work tomorrow but will be there after work and on Saturday. I hope all goes well, and that people will take a look. I'll be disconnecting my home computer so that I can show people the CD-ROM books. So I won't be able to get on line for a few days. Wish me luck. And everyone have a great weekend.

Honey, I'm home.
Indeed! I spent about 14 hours at the craft show. The weather turned downright miserable up here in the Sault and harldy anybody showed. And those who did just wanted to spend there money on such things as slot machines and food. Can you belive that! I had great things to teach them about all kinds of meats, and the techniques to make their meals stand out, and they wanted to throw their money away on gambling. (heavy sigh).
Most people just smiled and said "I don't cook." I'd reply "ya gotta eat. You might as well eat great food." They'd reply "Is that like Kraft Macaroni and Cheese?"
['m tellin' ya, our modern society has lost its integrity, it's love of things good, and its ethical code. OK, so I'm exagerating just a bit, but great cookbooks, and I could only sell one. So many people would rather eat at McDonalds than cook something healthy for themselves or their families. It's downright discouraging.
But I'm back to this oasis of intelligent, loving, and good people. Oh, and the reason I haven't mentioned my cookbooks much on this site is that I always thought it would be out of place. I mean, isn't that what web-sites are for, selling things? I have my website built, but need to find a host site where I can put it.
If anyone is interested in my books, send me a PM and I'll give you the particulars.
Know however, that I come here to be among good people, not to sell my work.

Welcome home Goodweed of the North.
Sorry the weather put a damper on your cookbook sales. It's hard to compete with gambling. Good to have you back....wasabi
