When I think of sandwiches, the Stage Deli in New York was one of my favorites. Take a peek at their menu, etc.

How about..... THE PDS ( Perfectly Delish Sandwich)

Sliced Swiss Cheese
Slices Walla Walla Sweet onions
Thinly sliced honey ham
Sliced mushrooms (lots of them)
Topped with more Swiss cheese
And a glob of miracle whip
Toasted to perfection on good thick homemade white bread.

Must be served with a tall cup of hot chocolate with marshmellows!!

A few other condiments to consider are different varieties of flavored mayo. The two that readily come to mind are a pesto mayo and a chipotle mayo. Yummy!

Here's a really good snack:

1. Decrust your bread slices & roll the bread slices flat.
2. Butter on one side.
3. Flip over and lightly coat (the unbuttered side) with Vegemite and sprinkle with your fav mature chees.
4. Roll up individual slices like Swiss rolls.
5. Place rolls on toaster, lower top & toast till golden, or as desired.

Serve hot.
i don't have a press. BUT i want to try this.
