Vietnamese Cooking DVD

My Mom recently came back from Vietnam and she brought me back a present from my Cousin. She gave me several DVDs that are instructional cooking segments. They're really cool. The next time I go over, I am going to look for some myself. I have 2 CDs and haven't looked at both.

The only part that sucks: the people are speaking a with a Northern accent and my family has a Southern accent. I have to concentrate really hard to understand them. I figured if I find a recipe I really like, I will make note of it and force my parents to watch(translate) it for me.

Are the recipes in there worth the translation? I guess it is really a large difference in dialect.

Actually yes, some of them look pretty good. I haven't had the time to watch both DVDs, but will jot down which recipes they are and have them translated for anyone who is interested...give me a few days.
