garam masala - This blend of dry-roasted, ground spices from the colder climes of northern India adds a sense of "warmth" to both palate and spirit.

Allspice - Also known as myrtle pepper, pimenta or Jamaica pepper. The dried unripe fruit of the pimenta plant. Ground and added to things like sausage, casseroles etc. The taste is hard to explain as it tastes like a combination of spices rather than one single spice.

schnitzel - The German word for "cutlet," usually describing meat that is dipped in egg, breaded and fried.
