Enjoying Making Soup

My standards are vegetable cheese soup, peanut soup and Brunswick stew. I think I'll have to do the stew next weekend. I make a big pot and we eat it for a week! The peanut soup is great in the summer because it is one of those soups that is just as good cold as it is hot.
 
This is a great thread! We all love soup, don't we? Even in this warm climate, we eat soup often. Our favorites: tortilla soup (Dina and I should share and compare recipes), chicken noodle, new england clam chowder, lentil, black bean, peruano beans. I had some spectacularly good cream of corn/poblano pepper soup at a restaurant last week. I need to experiment and figure out how to make it.
