Help with this soup?

I'm throwing together a cheese tater soup. I can't go to the store so I'm doing my best...

Here's the ingredients so far:

Water
1 large and 1 small gold tater, cut small
Some carrots, chopped
Onion powder
Salt and pepper
Chicken boullien
Cook until soft. Add:

1 can whole taters
1 large can chicken breast chunks
1" left of Velveeta
1 handful of grated sharp cheddar
Turkey bacon pieces

Any suggestions on what else to ad?

what other ingredients do you have on hand? You said you cant go to the store, so unless we know what you have on hand we cant suggest anything.
I know you said onion powder, if you have an actual onion that would be good as well.

No celery, no onions. I should have specified...herbs, spices, etc.

I added some instant taters to thicken it up some.

If you had some milk you could have made it a cream soup with the flour to thicken it up. Depends on the herbs and spices you have on had. Chives would be good, maybe parsley flakes.

Welcome! And heavy cream, yum better than milk. My wife tries to cut fat so she uses milk or at most half and half. I prefer the taste of the heavy cream... but not what it does to my waste line! LOL.
