Looking for some lite soup recipes please!

I love a creamy and hearty soup, when I'm in the mood for it that is. I've been looking all over for new veggie soup recipes that are more like a broth or consomme for when I'm not actually hungry but more as a winter drink.
All the recipes I find either have meat, starch or cream in them.
Please could anyone give me some new ideas. I love all veg but I'm bored of my own soups and would love to try something new.

You should check out some Vietnamese Pho recipes. You don't have to load them up like they normaly do, the broth is great on its own. I make a fake pho using beef or chicken broth, garlic, star anice,a piece of cinamon stick and ginger. I simmer this down for about 20 minutes, then I just add whatever is in the fridge. Green onion, thinly slices peppers, mushrooms, celery, left over meat, anything will do. Heat until warm and eat, with fish or soy sauce. It isn't the real thing, but great none the less.

There's a great recipe here somewhere for jalapeno soup, but I can't get the member's name to come up to search for it. I know I have it printed out though. Give me some time.
