I just threw this together on paper, let me know if it sound like I have the right amounts. Thanks
Meatballs;
1 pound Ground Beef
1/4 Cup Bread Crumbs
1/4 Cup Parm. cheese
1 egg
Salt and pepper
rest of ingredients
1/2 cup dices celery
1/2 cup diced carrors
1/2 cup diced onion
1/2 cup bell pepper green or red
1/2 cup minni penne rigate (or some other small pasta)
2 tbsp tamato paste
3 cups beef stock
4 cloves of garlic
1 tbsp dry Basil
1 tbsp dry oregano
Mix all the meat ball ingredients, roll into small meatballs, brown, drain.
place all other ingredients into crock pot add meatballs cook on high till pasta is tender. Serve.
Do you guys think this will work? BTW, I am at work and just trying to picture it so I may be off on the stock. I was inspired by Joe's soup picture in the bread thread.

I make meat Ball soup all the time. It is always different, because I use different vegies and different pasta or rice, or no pasta. Some times I use beef, some times I use turkey or chicken. I love it.

You may want to go to 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs.

I also think you'll need more than three cups of stock.

Too much oregano. I'd cut it in half.

Good point on the oregano, I usually use half of the amount I use in the basil, and maybe 4 cups of broth may work? I can see half a cup of breadcrumbs too. Thanks

Yummy!
I'd add a can of diced tomatoes if I was making it but yours sounds good too!
I do think it needs a little more broth.

I'd make the recipe and and play the liquid by ear. Once you get everything into the pot, add the 4 cups and see what it looks like. Add more a needed. I made a beef stew last night and just added broth until the liquid amount looked right with the solids.
