I'm not a fan of carrots, but I gave this a try for my daughter who has discovered cooking
I must say I was pleasantly surprised.
In a large pot steam the grated carrots 5 large ones in 5 Tab. butter along with 5 small sliced onions, til tender.Steam 1/4 c, long grain white rice then add to the veggies with 1 quart pureed tomatoes and 1/2 tea. soda..Add 1 qt. hot milk and 1/2 c.1/2 and 1/2 add salt and pepper to taste. If needed to reheat do not boil.
