This is from a book called Cooking With 5 Ingredients by Barbara C. Jones. It's easy, quick, & great when you need to be warmed up.

3(15oz)cans chicken broth(or homemeade)
1(10oz)can Italian stewed tomatoes
1/2C. chopped onion
3/4C. chopped celery
1/2(12oz)box fettuccine
salt & pepper to taste

In a large pot, combine chicken broth, tomatoes, onion, & celery. Bring to a boil; simmer until onion & celery are almost done. Add pasta & cook until al dente. Season with salt & pepper.

crewsk,
thanks, this looks good...There are times when I'm running late or the grandsons have me going in circles that a fairly quick pot of soup, some hot french or italian bread and some salad are about all I can throw together...This recipe will help out..Thanks :)

another easy one. It sounds weird, but it's good. If you don't want to use crab, just use cubed, cooked white fish.

Seafood Soup:

2 cups V8 juice
1 (14.5oz) can chicken broth, low salt variety
1 (9oz) pkg frozen mixed vegies
1 (8oz) pkg fresh or frozen crab chunk style, thawed, cubed
salt and pepper to taste

In large saucepan, combine all ingredients except fish. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer 10-15 min or until flavors are blended and vegies are tender. Add fish; heat gently until thoroughly heated. makes 4 servings.
