Breakfast Casserole

6 slices bread, torn into pieces
1/4 cup melted butter
1/2 lb velveeta cheese, cubed
1 cup cubed ham
3 eggs beaten
1 pt. milk
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
pepper
Arrange bread, cheese and ham in a 9x13 dish sprayed with shortning.
mix together the eggs, milk, melted butter,s/p and mustard. Pour over the bread and cheese mixture. Refrigerate overnight. Bake 1 hr at 350.

This is a great recipe! It has saved my hide on more than one occasion...

When we were all vegetarians I used broccoli and other veggies in it instead of the meat... and we still ate cheese so we were ok with it, but we used mozza and cheddar.

Hi everyone - I've made something similar to this recipe, but used breakfast sausage, crumbled and cooked, instead of the ham. It is a good brunch addition.
