I often make the std. casarole listed above..

brown the chops with onion and mushrooms, then add the condenced soup and cook in oven till done and serve over rice,

but my oven is on the Fritz..

could I just keep cooking the whole chops and sauce mix on the stovetop, and serve over rice?

I have a slow cooker also, but is a bit large the amount of thin chops I have.

Thanks, Eric, Austin Tx.

I make Salisbury Steak on the stove top, you should be fine doing pork chops. just have some stock on hand in case the soup gets too thick before the dish is finished. Don't want it to scorch.
