Reuben casserole (merged)

Reuben casserole
8 oz wide egg noodles cooked and drained
3 tlb butter or margarine, softened
1 lb sauerkraut, drained
2 cups chopped corned beef
1/4 cup thousand Island dressing
2 cups shredded swiss cheese, (8oz)
1/2 caraway seeds (optional)
4 rye crisp crackers. (optional)
preheat oven to 350, grease a 2qt. baking dish. While noodles are still hot, place them in a bowl. Add the butter and stir to coat.
Layer the buttered noodles, sauerkraut, corned beef in casserole dish. Dot with thousand island dressing and sprinkle with cheese.
Top casserole with crushed rye crisp crackers and caraway seeds (optional.)
Baked covered in 350 oven for 15 min. or more until bubbly.
You can also add sliced tomatoes on the hot dish before adding the thousand Islan dressing.

I have no recipe for this and just add the ingredients until it looks good.
About 4 to 5 cups mashed potatoes placed in bottom of greased casserole dish, (9x13). add 3 cooked lasagna noodles on to the potatoes. Add shredded cheese ( your choice). add drained sauerkraut. repeat layers if you like. You can do the layers in any order you like. You can also add sliced polish sausage fried and drained. It's kinda like a do what ya like here.
