Stew with 'cheating' dumplings!
We had an absolutely delicious 'brown stew', cooked in the slow cooker. The meat was really tender and the whole stew lovely but I did cheat and use a supermarket dumpling mix, to which I added herbs etc.
I love dumplings!![]() |

Sounds very good to me, I cheat when I can too - no biggy!

When I want to "cheat" with dumplings, I use fresh wonton wrappers torn into pieces or flour tortillas torn into pieces.
