I'm not exactly sure the best place to post this. The rice area or the crock pot area.

I'm following a recipe for Cream Chicken Soft Taco's and you first cook some chicken breasts with salsa in a CROCKPOT on low 6-8 hours. I think I got the recipe from here somewhere, but I'm not entirely sure.

The last hour before serving, you throw in some sour cream and 1/2 cup of Rice into the crockpot and cook for an hour.

It says "Minute Rice". I don't have that kind of rice. I just have regular white rice. I think it's Jasmine. Can I still put the rice in?

Minute Rice is an instant rice. You can either cook your regular rice separately and add it at the last, or put the rice in with the chicken and salsa at the beginning.
