Can you cooked stuffed peppers in the crockpot? If so, how long do you think they should cook? They are on the smaller size.

When I cook stuffed peppers in the cp, I do them for 4 hours on high or 6 on low. I start with raw rice, so it takes a little longer.

| | I prefer to cook stuffed peppers in the oven, but if I have to be out for several hours then I pop them into the CP. I never use minute rice for ANYTHING and I wouldn't for the peppers either. If you're cooking these for 4 to 6 hours you can safely use regular rice and the rice will be soft when the peppers are done. The CP does a great job of cooking stuffed peppers and the sauce is outstanding. Be careful not to use too much liquid since the peppers give off liquid of their own. | | |

I use regular rice for the stuffed peppers. Actually, my favorite rice is jasmine for stuffed peppers and stuffed cabbage.
