Got a monster (5.25 lb) pork roast going in the crockpot.
I threw some baby red potatoes, chunks of celery, a chopped up leek, and some baby carrots in the bottom of the pot.
Mixed up a packet of that new McCormick slow cookiing powder with about 2 cups of thawed-out French onion soup I've been trying to find a use for, and poured it over everything. Also tossed in two bay leaves.
Since it's not a weekday, I'm letting this puppy go for 8 hours on low.
Let's hope this makes up for the crummy soup I made yesterday.
