Hi all. My name is Buzz and I live in Naples, FL. I starting cooking about a year ago and can't get enough of the fresh seafood down here. I'm a retired pilot, and after 31 years of airline food my present diet is a Godsend. My interests are family, golf, and fishing. I'll be mostly learning from this site but will probably be able to contribute a little along the lines of induction cooking, *some* red wines, and knives and the steels of which they are composed. I've already made a couple posts in the knives forum.

That's about it. I'm glad to be here.

We're glad you found us and we look forward to your participation. Did someone mention red wine?????

Hi, buzz. Welcome to DC. Judging by your "handle," I'd guess you few 767s. Yes?

Yes. My last eleven years I flew 767/757, all international. For twenty years before that I was on 727 domestic. I love that old airplane.
