I will be 76 this month, am a retired Electronic Engineer and I like to cook (especially since my wife of 50 years is tired of cooking!). She is trying to stay on a renal diet (bad kidneys) and there are lots of things she should not eat. Like tomatoes, salt, sausages, organ meats, kale, spinach, etc. When shopping I am always examining the ingredients for sodium levels. Low salt is good for me also.
