Lefty living in the great state of Maine. No speical favorite foods I just love them most, though bacon can bring me out of a coma. I am a lover of many things outdoors, fishing, camping, hiking & kayaking. I am also a computer and gadget guru. Regards Lefty

A big welcome to you from Las Vegas.
I read the title of your post and have to comment on that. When I lived in Traverse City, Michigan it was considered by everyone to be "God's Country."

When I moved to Coronado, California, that too was considered "God's Country."

Same with San Diego.

Now I live in Las Vegas and I have NEVER heard anyone refer to LV as God's Country. Hmmmm.

Hi Lefty!!! Glad you joined us here at DC! Come on in and make yourself at home!

Disregarding the human factor......
I've travelled all over the U.S.- minus Alaska.
With 16+ climate zones, I think it's all GOD'S Country!
There's not one area I didn't fall in love with.
As for living wherever - I do know I, personally, need to live by the coast, any coast.
My second favorite was S. Dakota Badlands (although not in winter. LOL!) I found them mystical and erie and gorgeous!

Oops, I just noticed no religious posts of any type. While the post was not of a religious nature I apoligive for the thread title. It was not meant to offend anyone or go against the rules of the forum.
