Washington State, We live about 30 minutes south of Seattle.

Wow! My son was in Seattle a few weeks back. He loved it. They went to some island for dinner. I can't remember the name!

There are a few islands, could it have been Vashon? There are suppose to be good restaurants out on Vashon Island, I've never been out there though. I hope the weather was good for your son while he was visiting!

He reported fabulous weather!! I think the island was one owned(?) by an Indian tribe, and they were the host. It was a rather large group that went out by boat of course!
