Hello everyone! I'm very excited to have found this site!
I grew up on a farm and was lucky enough to spend a lot of time at the elbows of my father in the garden and my mother in the kitchen. I still have a lot to learn, but love to cook (and eat) and can't believe this wonderful resource has slipped by me for so long!
I'm a graduate student (of Graphic Design) in North Carolina right now (working on my second year) and have started my thesis. And within the last week, I've decided that I want part of that thesis to be about food and cooking. So I'm doubly happy to have found the site.
