Greetings from the Swedish Chef

Hello, everyone-- I signed on to this site to answer a reader's question about koldolmar (Swedish cabbage rolls), having just made a batch.

Welcome to the site, wrstewart!
It's so nice you are here!

Do you have a camera nearby? We'd love to see your koldomar!

Welcome to the DC family. I'm sure you've gotten a look around and probably are familiar with how we work. It's easy, we all love food, sharing what we know, and learning new things about cooking. And we're a freindly bunch from all over the world. Hope to see lots from you.

Thanks for the greetings. I've lived in the area for nearly thirty years (from Jamestown, NY--large Swedish community there). I don't have a digital camera, so you'll just have to imagine the koldolmar (sorry). And don't worry--we stopped eating lutfisk when I was a wee one! Do check out the koldolmar recipe and comment.

Bienvenue, neighbor. 30 years, eh? I'm out here with the other newbies in Prince Wm County. Glad to have another Virginian on board.
