As you can guess by my handle, when I'm not reading something, I'm cooking something. I got turned on to cooking by my late WW II Marine father. Back then, anyone crazy enough to tell him that "cooking was woman's work" was liable to get knocked on their A**. I've been in the kitchen my entire adult life and am a genuine "Foodie:" that is someone that loves to cook, loves to eat, and loves to talk about the preceding two. My interests: One-course-everything-in meals, stir-fries, soups, stews, vegetarian, salads, and fusion. I don't do much outdoor grilling with meats anymore but love it when someone else does it very well.
