I never know which is better - to put on just 1 candle and risk offending someone - or putting on all the candles and risk setting off the fire sprinklers?

Happy Birthday June!

Thanks, everyone! What a lovely thread.

It's been a lovely day. Got taken to Roy's for lunch (yeah, I know it's a chain, but quite a fine one... it's nice to have fresh Hawaiian fish on a gray, cold day in New York!

Wine is the food that completes the meal.
