Vicki, have you ever sliced lemons really thin and cooked them in simple syrup until they are soft and edible? You can decorate your pound cake with them. They are also great to use on poppy seed lemon loaf. And can use the syrup to flavor the inside of your creations. Poke some holes in the top and drizzle some of the syrup over the top.
