I don't think I've ever had food from Okinawa. I know it's somewhat different from the rest of Japan. I am originally from Yokohama.

Yuri is indeed a Russian boy's name. The OP, Yuri is short for Yuriko.

Okinawa is on my list next time I go to Japan. I have recently visited Japan for the first time. Besides the superb food I also enjoyed the smelly onsen.
