Hi Everyone! I'm new to cooking & was looking for a forum to post questions, learn new recipes & make some friends who are interested in cooking. I hope I don't annoy the advanced cooks w/ my basic questions!

Thanks!!
Does anyone know what I can substitute for "brick cheese"? I cannot seem to find this particular cheese anywhere.

Hey and welcome to DC. I'm not that advanced at all. Everyone here is super friendly and they always entertain my questions. Don't be afraid to ask!

For real Brick cheese go to the Schullsburbg
Creamery in Shullsburg Wisconsin. Try and find some Biercase cheese it is the closest to Brick that I know of.
And welcome to DC you will like it here
