Welcome to DC from another Brit. There are a lot of us around here.

As Paul Revere, apparently, did not shout "The British are coming" - complete with saucepans and wooden spoons .

You are so right MC. We were British ourselves. He shouted that the Red Coats were coming.

So welcome to a "Red Coat". Something we Colonists certainly did not say to the Red Coats at the time of 1776. But we can say it with certainty now. Some of our nicest tourist here in Boston are our British friends.
