Hi, I just joined! I am a novice cook who has just recently started getting into things such as marinades and spices. I've always collected recipes, and actually need a book to put them in.

I love watching Food Network/Cooking Channel shows such as "Cooking for Real" (Sunny Anderson), "30 Minute Meals" (Rachel Ray), and "Down Home with the Neelys". Paula Deen is definitely in the mix too.

I'm here to learn a lot more about cooking, and hopefully make some new friends!
