Hello, I was looking for a way for tenderizing pork and came across this site, and decided to join...

I am just a newbie in cooking, currently learning in a small school in my region.

Nice to meet you all..:)

Welcome, newbie. As with any meat, any marinade that contains an acid will tenderize. Acids would be orange, lemon, lime, apple, etc.
I don't know what cut of meat you are using, or what cooking method; grill roast, fry. So it's hard to get more specific. All these things matter for temp. & time.

Thanx Quicksilver, i had read some topics for this in this forum and it seems citrus acids toughens meat when not used correctly.

It was for my exam last week, and I finally decided to use Kiwi--sliced it and stick them to the surface then put it in chiller -- and it works out Great! :D

I registered last week but the confirmation email came today but thanks for the chart...:D

btw it was Sirloin pork...:D
