Hi - I am a new member. I have a new niece-in-law from Turkey who is struggling a bit with American foods. Specifically we are trying to find out the appropriate type of RICE that she would like. We have tried several brands and have not had any success. If anyone knows a brand or type of rice that is readily available that would be a good substitute for her, I would appreciate the information. I am learning about Turkish food and she is learning about American food so we were very excited to find this site. We hope you all have a wonderful day!

What types of rice have you tried already?
I really love the slow cooking brown rice that takes an hour or so that you put butter on just before serving. yum!
