I've just joined the forum today. I used to be in the kitchen most evenings and certainly at the weekend cooking up some lovely recipe that I'd found in one of my many recipe books. Due to a variety of circumstances I've got out of the way of proper home cooked food, and I thought joining this forum would give me the inspiration to start again, giving me some encouragement and new ideas.

Welcome! I hope you find the inspiration you need here. After eating primarily take out for the last two and a half weeks while packing and cleaning the old house I really found myself missing home cooked food, mostly because take out around here is decidedly "meh" but also because there are aome recipes on here that I really want to try!
